Job description

We are looking for a friendly and organised Linen Porter.

You will support and assist the housekeeping team by delivering clean linen to guest rooms and storage areas.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Accepting and distributing linen, uniforms, and other consumables for guest areas.
  • Removing used linen from guest bedrooms and public areas.
  • Preparing linen for uplift by the linen company.
  • Storing delivered items properly in designated storage areas.
  • Reporting maintenance issues and faults.
  • Occasionally washing small items such as chefs’ uniforms, aprons, tea towels, and service gloves.
  • Managing stock levels effectively.

Who are we looking for?

The standard of our bedrooms will leave a lasting impression on our guests. You should have good presentation skills to ensure rooms are guest-ready.

You will need to build good relationships with the housekeeping team and possess strong communication skills.

We are seeking someone who is highly organised, able to prioritise tasks, and enjoys physical, energetic work.

Experience in a customer-facing role and/or within a hospitality environment or similar is desirable. Experience working in a small team would be an advantage.
