We have an exciting opportunity to join our Housekeeping team at The Fife Arms Hotel, Braemar as a Laundry & Linen Porter.

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with a passion for excellent service and a desire to develop and grow.

As a Laundry & Linen Porter, you will be responsible for the laundry and all the linen within the hotel, maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.

As Laundry & Linen Porter, your tasks and duties will include:

• Sorting, counting, and recording all linen to ensure sufficient stock is available.
• Washing and ironing in-house laundry, including kitchen uniforms and clothes, as well as bed and bath linens.
• Checking all laundry in and out, ensuring all documentation is checked and completed as necessary.
• Assisting the Housekeepers by stripping the beds and removing the bed and bath linens from the guest bedrooms and placing the required clean linens in the guest bedrooms.
• Cleaning and maintaining the laundry room, including machinery, cupboards, and shelving.
• Carrying out periodic cleaning duties as outlined in the assigned checklists.
• Ensuring that all linen trolleys, cupboards, and all items pertaining to guest service are stocked as required.
• Assisting in the moving of furniture, beds, and cots, as required.
