We are currently seeking to recruit a Linen Porter at Seafield Hotel & Spa Resort (Day time hours)

This is a fantastic opportunity for driven candidates to be part of a busy yet fun working environment with a good work-life balance.

The Candidate:

• Previous experience working as a Hotel Linen Porter is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.
• Flexible to work both mid-week and weekend shifts. (Day shifts only in this role)
• Friendly, professional individual with excellent customer service and communication skills.
• A good level of spoken English is required.
• Standards-driven and detail-oriented.

Main Responsibilities:

• Ensure all linen is checked and complies with order and delivery documentation.
• Record linen received, issued, and returned in line with department procedures.
• Handle all linen safely, following manual handling training provided.
• Keep receiving areas and fire exits clean, tidy, free from rubbish or obstructions, and secure.
• Keep linen pantries and bedroom corridors clear from linen bags and rubbish at all times.
• Transport linen and bed coverings correctly to designated areas.
• Handle and store soiled linen properly.
• Deal with reject linen according to department procedures.
• Assist in removing beds and furniture to and from guest bedrooms.
• Respond to guest requests professionally and promptly.
• Complete all checklists.
• Follow resort procedures for accepting, securing, and returning guest lost property.
• Adhere to resort policies for key control and security.
