Job description

Most of our sites run from Monday to Friday, with 45 hour working weeks, and 9-hour shifts per day which typically start at 5/6pm. Our well-organised shift schedules mean you often know in advance where you'll be driving, taking the stress out of your day.

You will drive a lorry from our exceptional fleet of Volvo vehicles, all less than 4 years old. They're a joy to drive, and are equipped to a high specification, including fridges, leather seats and many more optional extras to make sure you're comfortable.

At Evri Premium, we know we only grow if our people do too. That's why we're committed to building a truly inclusive and diverse workplace where everyone can bring - and be - their whole authentic selves. We're on a journey to better represent the customers we serve around the UK. We're committed to removing barriers and ensure that each person at Evri Premium is valued for who they are, and what they bring to our business.

We are Evri. Where everyone is welcome

We're excited for the future. Let's deliver it together.

Every parcel, every person, every place - every delivery made for you.

Evri is leading the way in creating responsible delivery experiences for everyone,. And we're doing that by offering the most convenient way to send, receive and return parcels without costing the earth.

Whether it's a customer sending a present to a friend, a marketplace trader shipping in bulk or a major retailer such as John Lewis, asos or Next, we've got it covered. With our team of 30,000 couriers, thousands of local ParcelShops and a growing network of hubs and depots across the country, we safely get parcels from A to everywhere.

And it's not just customers and retailers who trust us. We've won loads of industry awards over the past few years, including gongs for IT, innovation and our green fleet.

But we wouldn't be the biggest dedicated parcel delivery company in the UK without amazing people. We're a friendly, ambitious and diverse bunch, united by a passion for delivering the best customer experience. We have great opportunities throughout the business, so take a look to see where you might fit in. We can't wait to hear from you.

We don't micromanage our drivers. We trust them to get the job done and plan their own routes.

This job involves trunking to regional hubs on the night shift. So, if you like the independence of being out on the open road for long stretches - but also want to be home again at the end of every 9-hour shift, this is the job for you.

You’ll make sure Cages, Pallets, Freight, Stillages and Yorks get to and from customers bang on time. At some sites, the goods will be loaded or unloaded for you - at others, you’ll need to do it yourself. Scanning consignments and driving pallet trucks will sometimes be part of your day.

You’ll be responsible for inspecting your vehicle and trailer every day and complete a Defect Report if necessary.

What We Can Offer You:
  • Annual Leave: At least 28 days of annual leave (including Bank Holidays).
  • Career Progression
  • Inclusive Benefits: Access to flexible perks including shopping vouchers, insurance, and healthcare.
What We're Looking For
