Job summary

A family farming business based in Bilsthorpe is looking for a Line Supervisor. This position involves overseeing production quality, conducting daily checks, and ensuring compliance with company standards. The ideal candidate should have problem-solving skills and experience with mechanical systems. Competitive pay of £14.32 per hour with shifts from 7am to 6pm, on a temporary to permanent basis.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a multi-skilled technician or similar role with a strong knowledge of mechanical systems.
  • Ability to quickly identify issues, analyse root causes, and implement effective solutions.

  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and GMP.

Line Supervisor

7am to 6pm – 4 on 4 off
Temporary to permanent

We are proudly recruiting for a Line Supervisor at one of our local clients based in Bilsthorpe. This third-generation family farming business who specialise in cereal and vegetable production are looking for an experienced Line Supervisor, looking to make a positive impact with regular checks and improvements.

Job description:

• Daily start up checks of the Glass & Plastic sheets
• Ensure all packaging is of company standard
• Regularly communicate the report progress and down-time with pre-pack team leader
• Report issues to Pre-pack team leader & Maintenance in a timely manner through either face to face or by the Factory Whatsapp groups
• Pro-actively communicate with all staff
• Support continuous improvements within the team and production.
• Always maintain a high standard of housekeeping & GMP by ensuring all staff follow the planned “clean down”
• Meet all GMP & H&S Targets
• Follow and complete the production plan
• Take on any other duties as required or what is deemed necessary for the needs of the business
