Job summary

Whitworths Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking Line Minder or Machine Minder with Bagger or multi-pond experience to join our manufacturing team. You will operate and maintain production lines to meet targets and quality standards, and prepare procedures before start-up.

The role offers a basic rate of £14.23 per hour with shift premiums, a 40.5-hour week on a 3pm–11pm pattern, and opportunities for development within a growing food manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating and maintaining a production line is desirable.
• Literacy and numeracy skills are required.
• Experience in food manufacturing is preferable.

About the Line Minder position:

• £14.23 per hour basic rate, plus excellent shift premiums
• 40.5 hours per week
• Shift pattern: 3pm to 11pm

In this role you will take responsibility for operating and maintaining production lines to meet stretching targets and quality standards. You will ensure that prior to start up all preparation procedures relating to the days production requirements are completed. Line set ups and changeovers are key to the success of this role.

Previous experience of running a production line is desirable, although further training will be given. Basic engineering skills would be desirable, but not essential.

We want keen, enthusiastic people who are self-motivated and committed to excellent work standards. Candidates must have satisfactory literacy and numeracy skills. Experience of the food manufacturing industry is preferable.
