Job summary

Whitworths Ltd is seeking a Line Minder/Machine Minder with experience in Bagger or multi-pond systems to join our production team in Irthlingborough. The role offers a base rate of £14.23 per hour with eligible shift premiums, 40.5 hours per week, and a 3pm–11pm shift pattern.

Previous line-running experience is desirable; basic engineering skills are a plus. The company offers progression opportunities within a busy manufacturing environment and values dedicated, reliable staff.

About The Line Minder Position

• £14.23 per hour basic rate, plus excellent shift premiums
• 40.5 hours per week
• Shift pattern: 3pm to 11pm

In this role you will take responsibility for operating and maintaining production lines to meet stretching targets and quality standards. You will ensure that prior to start up all preparation procedures relating to the day's production requirements are completed. Line set ups and changeovers are key to the success of this role.

Previous experience of running a production line is desirable, although further training will be given. Basic engineering skills would be desirable, but not essential.

We want keen, enthusiastic people who are self-motivated and committed to excellent work standards. Candidates must have satisfactory literacy and numeracy skills. Experience of the food manufacturing industry is preferable.
