THE ROLE

We are seeking to appoint a Line Manager responsible for supporting and leading a department and team to deliver the best shopping experience for our customers. Reporting to the Deputy Manager, this role ensures we serve Ireland’s shoppers a little better every day.

  • Creating an inspiring and welcoming environment for colleagues and customers
  • Being responsible for the store in the absence of the Store Manager/Deputy Manager
  • Ensuring team members are fully trained and validated in their roles
  • Fostering two-way communication and a culture of trust
  • Coaching colleagues to meet daily priorities and deliver excellent customer service
  • Reviewing reports and systems to implement improvements
  • Driving a culture of zero food waste, managing date codes, and ensuring food safety
  • Recruiting passionate colleagues dedicated to customer service
  • Understanding and delivering cleaning standards
  • Managing stock control, warehouse layout, and routines for first-time accuracy
  • Addressing pricing, overcharges, refunds, and label routines to ensure correct charges
  • Managing front-end operations to prevent queues
  • Recognizing and providing feedback on excellent service or areas for improvement

Ideal candidates will have a demonstrated track record of:

• Passion for delivering the right experience for customers and colleagues

• Adaptability and agility in thinking

• Ability to deliver objectives in a fast-paced environment

• Being the go-to person for departmental queries

• Influencing at senior levels

• Previous retail experience in a similar role is preferred
