Line Loader-Days (Finance)

Purpose of the Position: Hang all incoming saddles and leg quarters on shackles manually by hand.

Essential Responsibilities:

1. Pickup saddles from the moving belt.
2. Hang saddles and leg quarters on shackles, keeping them full.
3. Hang at a speed consistent with the production line.
4. Participate as a member of the team, contributing to ongoing development, communication, and implementation of team concepts, programs, and policies.
5. Coordinate work to ensure best practices with all team members.
6. Attend appropriate team meetings.
7. Foster strong cohesiveness regarding major issues such as direction, annual plans, budgets, and policy changes.
8. Identify areas lacking cohesiveness and work with the team to resolve issues, aiming for synergy within the organization.
9. Support Simmons' operating systems principles and objectives, maintaining familiarity with quality, security, and company policies.
10. Perform other duties as necessary to support business objectives.

Physical Activities: Occasional bending, reaching, constant standing, grasping, fine manipulation, repetitive motion, light lifting (up to 7 pounds), and use of vision.

Work Environment: Inside line work around loud equipment, walking around drains, footbaths, hoses; wet environment, occasional dust.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Earplugs, gloves, hairnet/beardnet, sanitized footwear, apron, face mask.

Travel: None.

Preferred Education: Up to one month of experience or training.
