About The Role

Full-time, weekly paid, 46 hours guaranteed per week.

6 months fixed-term contract (there may be potential for a permanent contract after).

Are you an experienced leader with a strong track record? Are you willing to provide support and motivation to your team to hit daily production targets? Are you competent using a computer and have experience working to required service levels and KPIs?

If so, we might be the right fit for you!

About the role:

• You will motivate and develop your team to achieve and maintain service levels and key performance indicators and provide feedback and support to improve efficiency or performance when required.
• You will liaise with quality and technical departments to make sure all customers’ quality specifications are met and maintained.
• You will support our Production Operatives and Machine Operatives to hit targets daily, and work with them to overcome day-to-day challenges.
• You will suggest more efficient ways of running the line, identifying opportunities to improve our ways of working based on business needs.
• You will complete daily logs, and trace and complete administrative duties to ensure accurate recordings of activity and fulfilment.
• You will work with the Machine Operative to increase the line speed and functionality when possible.
• You will account for who is working on your lines by ensuring they sign in and out at the start and finish of the shift, and monitor their performance to ensure the line is working as a team.
• You will report any discrepancies or problems to your Shift Manager promptly, and work with them where needed to overcome any challenges.

About You

Essential:

• Experienced team leader able to motivate and work collaboratively with your team and close colleagues.
• Proven track record of hitting service level targets and KPIs.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to alter your style depending on your audience or team member.
• Ability to work in a KPI-driven environment and have experience working to KPIs.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Competent and confident using a computer, including the Microsoft Office range of products, and manufacturing specific software.
• Continuously strive for excellence, empower, and motivate your team to work collaboratively.

Desirable:

• Experience in either fresh produce, food, FMCG, or manufacturing environments is desirable but not essential.
• Experience within a fresh produce environment is highly desirable.
• Exceptional attention to detail and note-taking.
• Ability to act quickly, make fast decisions, and adapt to multiple situations.
• An awareness of the production lifecycle.
