• Ensure optimum product grade-outs and complete all relevant documentation.
• Ensure teams are productive and organized.
• Work as an effective team to ensure productivity.
• Ability to delegate effectively and manage performance.
• Minimize downtime.
• Maintain positive attitude towards quality management.
• Attention to detail in record keeping.
• Liaise with Management.

Job description

Key Performance Areas: To ensure product is packed as efficiently adhering to customer requirements, within a safe environment. To ensure all packaging, labels are available and to help improve production flow and speed of changeovers. To follow all set procedures, correct data entry. Understand and influence positive stock control, Being responsible for the LSO (Line support operative). Promote continuous improvement, by positive communication and people management

Responsibilities include:

• Ensure optimum product grade-outs and complete accurately all relevant production documentation during the full shift length.
• Ensure teams are productive & organized.
• Work as an effective team, utilize key members of the team to ensure the line is always productive,
• Ability to delegate effectively and to follow-up as appropriate. Provides clear direction and leadership and able to motivate, coach and manage poor performance as required.
• Ensuring downtime is minimized.
• Positive attitude to quality management and food safety
• Attention to detail in all aspects of the role and meticulous in record keeping and at following technical procedures
• Liaising with Management
