Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd is actively seeking a Packing Line Leader for our site near Melton, United Kingdom. This hands-on role focuses on keeping the packing line running smoothly and safely, reporting to the Team Leader in a fast-paced production environment.

You will prepare production for the next day, organise production, and identify hazards with corrective actions. You will lead a small packing team, ensuring high standards of safety and efficiency across shifts.

Qualifications

• Adaptable and flexible to production and seasonal fluctuations.
• Industrious and able to work under pressure.
• Good level of accuracy when completing records.
• Knowledge of operating production machinery.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Basic IT skills including Excel and Word.
• Basic Food Hygiene to be achieved within 12 months.

An exciting vacancy has arisen for a Packing Line Leader for our award-winning client’s production site. Reporting into the Team leader this role would suit someone from a fast-paced production environment.

This is a practical, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a production environment and can take responsibility for keeping a line running smoothly.

• Preparation of production for the next day

• Identify hazards and implement corrective actions.


• Lead a small packing line, ensuring team members are working safely and efficiently.

Experience and Skills for Packing Line Leader

• Adaptable/flexible to meet requirements and demands of production and seasonal fluctuations


• Industrious and be able to work under pressure


• Good level of Accuracy and numeracy when completing records.


• Good knowledge of operating machinery


• Good standard of spoken and written English


• Current Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (to be achieved within 12 months)


• Self-motivated and able to motivate staff.


• Basic IT skills including Excel and Word.
