Job summary

G’s Group in March is seeking a Line Leader to take ownership of a production line, delivering safety, quality and efficiency improvements while developing the team. You will lead from the front, ensuring smooth operation and adherence to product specifications.

The role involves shift preparation, machine readiness, quality monitoring, team leadership, daily priority meetings and a strong focus on lean practices, with a clear path to operational impact and career growth.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Line Leader in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of production processes, quality standards and safety requirements.
• Proactive, hands-on leadership with a continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the line for each shift to maximise output and minimise downtime.
• Ensure machinery is ready and pre-start checks are completed.
• Run the line in line with product specifications (programmes, films, date codes).
• Maintain high cleaning and hygiene standards throughout production.
• Monitor product quality and take corrective action when needed.
• Lead, motivate and support the team to deliver strong performance.
• Manage attendance and address issues proactively.
• Run daily Top 5 meetings to communicate priorities and results.
• Create and maintain a safe, compliant working environment.
• Drive KPI improvements and lean practices (5S, waste reduction).
• Ensure correct storage and rotation of materials.

Line Leader - £14.42 per hour

Location: March Immediate Starts Available Ready to lead a team and make a real impact on production performance?

We’re looking for an experienced and driven Line Leader to take ownership of a production line at our fast-growing March site. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll be responsible for delivering results across safety, quality, and efficiency while developing and supporting your team.

You’ll lead from the front, ensuring your line runs smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Key responsibilities include:

Production & Efficiency

• Preparing the line for each shift to maximise output and minimise downtime
• Ensuring machinery is ready, operational, and all pre-start checks are completed
• Running the line in line with product specifications (programmes, films, date codes)

Quality & Compliance

• Maintaining high cleaning and hygiene standards throughout production
• Monitoring product quality and taking corrective action when needed

Team Leadership

• Leading, motivating, and supporting your team to deliver strong performance
• Managing attendance and addressing any issues proactively
• Running daily “Top 5” meetings to communicate priorities and results

Hygiene & Safety

• Creating and maintaining a safe, compliant working environment
• Ensuring all health & safety procedures are followed at all times

Performance & Continuous Improvement

• Monitoring KPIs and driving improvements across the line
• Promoting lean practices, including 5S and waste reduction
• Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs

Stock & Materials

• Ensuring correct storage and rotation of materials
• Escalating any raw material issues quickly to avoid disruption

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience as a Line Leader (or similar) in a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of production processes, quality standards, and safety requirements
• Confident leadership and communication skills
• A proactive, hands‑on approach with a continuous improvement mindset

Working hours:

• Shift A: 05:00 - 17:00 (Panama shift pattern)
