About the role:

As a Line Leader, you’ll be responsible for running a production line efficiently and safely, ensuring orders are packed correctly to customer specifications. You’ll lead a team of packers, infeed/outfeed operators, and a pallet truck driver—coaching them, guiding them, and ensuring top performance from the line.

Your working hours:

Full-time over 5 days, including weekends. Evening shifts.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Setting up and operating machinery (GT2 and GT2s heat sealers, checkweighers, metal detectors, label applicators)
  • Leading line teams and ensuring all members understand their responsibilities
  • Overseeing packaging usage and ensuring customer specifications are met

  • Monitoring production performance and reporting issues as needed
  • Ensuring cleaning and maintenance procedures are followed using digital tablets

What we’re looking for:

  • Good working knowledge of packaging and machinery setup in a packhouse or manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet targets
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to food safety standards

What’s in it for you:

Starting hourly rate of £14.00-£15.00, with performance reviews after the initial 3-month training and probation period. On-site training will be provided and full support offered as you settle into your role. You’ll benefit from a consistent schedule, site amenities, and being part of a friendly, supportive team.
