Our award-winning client is expanding and requires a Line Leader to join their team. Could this be you?
The successful candidate will ideally possess both current knowledge and experience within the Food Production/Factory environment, and equally hold a similar position currently or be seeking professional development from a senior production operative who's worked within a team of 5-10 people.
As a Line Leader, you will be accountable for your production line and production team, ensuring all operates smoothly to achieve daily targets. This role will require you to communicate with your team, delegate responsibilities, and report any issues, whether staff, machinery, or production-related, to a Team Leader or Floor Line Manager within the premises (all of whom are very hands-on and already working on the floor).
There are various production lines and as a Line Leader, you must be able to retain information about each line as to how it operates. If you have or are already working within the Food Production sector, this will be highly advantageous and equally relatable. As part of the company's ethos, they ensure all their staff are multi-skilled; therefore, you will work across all lines within the premises on a rotational basis. With this comes the responsibility to ensure that your team of 5-10 people are operating while adhering to all health and safety and food hygiene standards at all times.
This role is available on a full-time temporary to permanent basis; however, for the right candidate, our client is open to conversations about an immediate permanent position being offered. The initial rate of pay is £11.79 an hour, rising to £12.54 post a successful 3-month probationary period.

The hours of work are Monday to Thursday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm and Friday 5:30 am - 2:00 pm off-season. During Peak Season (late May/June through to December), the hours of work alter to a weekly rotational shift pattern of Monday - Friday 5:15 am - 2:00 pm and Monday - Friday 2:00 pm - 10:15 pm. Due to the location of the company, it is essential that you have your own transport.
