Job summary

Center Parcs Longleat Forest is seeking a Line Cook / Junior Chef de Partie for the Takeaway team. You will prepare, cook and present menu items to high standards, supervise Kitchen Assistants and support operations when the Kitchen Manager is absent.

You’ll work evenings and weekends, with shifts from 2pm to 10pm on a full-time contract and a guaranteed minimum of 150 hours over a 4-week period, plus opportunities for development and recognition rewards.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Kitchen Assistant is desirable.
• Ability to maintain high standards of food presentation and cleanliness.
• Friendly, cheerful, and proactive approach in a busy kitchen.

Line Cook / Junior Chef de Partie – Takeaway – Longleat Forest | £14.40 per hour

Restaurant Runner delivers freshly prepared meals from our restaurants straight to guests' accommodation.

We're looking for a Line Cook / Junior Chef de Partie to join our Restaurant Runner team. You'll prepare, cook and present menu items to high standards, supervise Kitchen Assistants and manage kitchen operations in the absence of a Kitchen Manager.

• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and comply with food safety and legal requirements
• Manage stock, portion control and minimise food waste to meet cost targets
• Support menu development and assist Kitchen Managers with procedures and standards

Your working hours

• Restaurant Runner is open 7 days a week from 4:30pm to 9:30pm
• Full-time contract, with shifts falling between 2pm and 10pm
• You will be contracted to work a guaranteed minimum of 150 hours over a 4-week period.
• You may be asked to work additional hours in line with operational requirements.
• This role includes evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
