Get to Know This Role: The Line Cook III collaborates with all Back of the House staff to prep, cook, and expedite food for onsite guests, delivery, and to-go orders. They follow recipes, plating guides, and SOPs, ensuring food quality and safety standards are met. They assist in training and mentor Line Cooks I and II, leveraging their advanced kitchen knowledge to improve systems, sustainability, and team skills.

What You Will Do:

  • Prepare all foods according to standardized recipes approved by supervisors.
  • Manage opening and closing SOPs, suggest process improvements.
  • Maintain appropriate food quantities and communicate adjustments.
  • Ensure equipment and work areas are safe, clean, and well-maintained.
  • Organize and rotate stock to ensure freshness and quality.
  • Participate in trainings and operational updates.
  • Manage shipment organization following FIFO and safety standards.
  • Assist in training junior cooks.
  • Monitor station safety, sanitation, and standards, report concerns.
  • Perform additional tasks as needed within the restaurant.
  • Follow all relevant laws and health regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years in a commercial kitchen as a line cook.
  • Dependable attendance.
  • Ability to handle kitchen pressures and deliver quality products.
  • Advanced prep, sanitation, and execution skills.
  • Ability to mentor and work effectively with team members.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Deep knowledge of food and cooking methods.
  • Proficiency in recipes, measurements, and conversions.
  • Understanding of BOH systems and communication calls.
  • Ability to adapt recipes for different yields.
  • SERV Safe Food Handler certification within 90 days.
