Job Title: Line Chef

Our Line Chefs are responsible for producing all menu items in an efficient and consistent manner. This role reports directly to the Kitchen Manager and is part of a team based at our attractive hotel in NR6 6JA.

Line Chef duties include:

  1. Cooking food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other methods to specified recipes and standards.
  2. Facilitating special requests from guests.
  3. Managing wastage through correct product measurement.
  4. Working towards all kitchen SOPs at all times.
  5. Setting up and stocking food items and supplies.

Beyond that, you'll represent our company values and culture, ensuring service excellence remains our top priority.

Other titles for this role include Prep Cook, Line Cook, Commis Chef, or Chef de Partie.

What you’ll bring to the team:

Excellent understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures. Experience as a Line Chef, Restaurant Cook, or Prep Cook. Familiarity with industry best practices and Basic Food Safety is essential.
