With sites across the UK, including our Quaker mill in Cupar and Doritos factory in Coventry, we’re also home to one of the world’s largest crisp factories in Leicester.

The Lincolnshire HUB HSE Manager leads the HSE agenda across the Lincoln and Brigg manufacturing sites, partnering with the Hub Leadership Team to driving a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance, managing risk, and improving HSE performance.
Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Lincolnshire HUB Lead in formulating and executing the annual Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) strategy and targets across the Lincoln and Brigg manufacturing sites.

  • Driving the deployment of HSE plans into SMART objectives at all levels to build and sustain a positive safety culture.

  • Contributing to the Hub Leadership Team by influencing HSE strategy, change initiatives, and Hub Must Win Battles.

  • Partnering with Supply Chain EHS leads to implementing Global, Sector, UK HSE policies and local legislative requirements.

  • Promoting and maintaining a strong HSE culture and behavioural safety programme across both sites.

  • Owning compliance with the Global Environment, Health and Safety Management System (GEHSMS), including auditing activities, coaching internal auditors, and ensuring closure of corrective actions.

  • Leading incident investigations, including major road traffic incidents where applicable, and driving continuous improvement to prevent recurrence.

  • Owning generic and technical risk assessment processes, including reviewing existing assessments and conducting assessments for new technologies, equipment, and procedures.

  • Providing coaching and daily support to operational and functional teams in resolving HSE issues and maintaining compliance with GEHSMS standards and legal requirements.

  • Supporting fleet safety management and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.

  • Ensuring effective HSE integration into change management and capital projects, reducing risk throughout project planning and execution.

  • Possessing significant experience in a mid- to senior-level management role within FMCG manufacturing, logistics, or a similarly fast-paced operational environment.

  • Demonstrating strong communication, influencing, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Showing proven experience in continuous improvement and performance enhancement.

  • Applying structured problem-solving methodologies effectively.
