Canlan Sports is seeking enthusiastic and kid-centric educators to join as Lil’ Kickers coaches. Rate of Pay: $17.00 - $18.75/hour

WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR HIGHLY MOTIVATED, KID-CENTRIC, ASPIRING EDUCATORS & COACHES

As a Lil’ Kickers coach, you will provide fun, friendly, and structured weekly classes for children aged 18 months to 9 years. You will lead kids through various soccer activities and games that promote their development, ensuring a safe and creative learning environment. Coaches should be professional, excellent communicators, organized, capable of managing children's behavior, team players, enthusiastic, energetic, and above all, FUN.

Accountabilities
  • Greet customers, welcome participants, and deliver an engaging on-field experience each week.
  • Communicate with parents about their child's progress before and after classes.
  • Follow safety guidelines outlined for Lil’ Kickers programming.
  • Represent the Lil’ Kickers brand during customer interactions and service.
  • Assist with grassroots marketing and community events.
  • Come to work each day with a positive attitude and enthusiasm for the day's challenges.
  • Follow the weekly curriculum without deviation.
  • Participate in ongoing coach training throughout the season.
  • Work consistent shifts each season.
  • Make customer care calls as needed.
Abilities, Attributes, and Experience
  • No prior coaching experience required; training will be provided.
  • Must be available to work during scheduled shifts.
  • Commit to coaching weekly for at least 13 weeks.
  • Attend community events and assist with administrative tasks.
  • Communicate clearly with supervisors and parents.
  • Retain at least 50% of the children you coach each session.
  • Approach each day with a positive attitude and a growth mindset.
