Express Recruitment is proud to work with one of Nottingham’s most reputable maintenance contractors, leaders in their niche field. Due to rapid growth, we are seeking a Trainee Lightning Protection Fitter to join our talented team.

If you have a background in Construction or Electrics as a Fitter's mate and want to explore a different sector, this could be the role for you.

The successful candidate will start with a salary of up to c£40,000 and have the opportunity to undertake an NVQ Level 2 in Skilled Fitting. Candidates must be comfortable working away weekly.

Responsibilities:

1. Installation, inspection, testing, and repair of lightning protection equipment
2. Assist with specialist testing of equipment
3. Plan installation in difficult-to-access areas
4. Ensure site compliance with H&S standards
5. Collaborate with site supervisor for site inspections of earthing and lightning equipment

Skills & Qualifications:

1. Experience as an Electrician or Fitter's mate preferred
2. 2391 Inspection & Testing or electrical qualification desirable
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
