Job description

UFO Lighting currently have an opportunity within our installation team for an additional Lighting Systems Installer. We are looking for someone who will be equally comfortable working in a high-end domestic property in London or at an exciting Theme Park in Florida.

Working alongside one of our trained engineers installing lighting systems at our clients sites across the UK and occasionally overseas. Full training will be provided however the position will be ideally suited to someone who is competent at DIY or has previously worked in a maintenance or labouring role.

When not scheduled to be travelling for installations you will work with our production team based at our Coldstream factory.

_This position is for the installation of lighting systems not data fibre, so fibre optic experience is not required._

Duties include:

Installation of fibre optic & LED lighting systems

Maintenance / Servicing of existing lighting systems

On-site fault finding and repairs

Dealing with customer care issues

Completion of project sign off documentation

Travelling with overnight stays

Compliance with health and safety policies and legislation

Skills / Experience:

Full driving licence

Be able to undertake basic trade skills using hand and power tools

Good communication

Physically fit and able to undertake manual labour

CSCS / working at heights experience preferred but not essential

Remuneration:

40 hour week plus overtime

Overtime payable at 1.5x standard rate

Competitive rates of pay plus subsistence allowance

PPE, mobile phone, uniform and transport to sites will be provided
