Role Overview

As a Lighting Controls Engineer, you will be working closely alongside our UK Controls Manager on a day-to-day basis learning everything from designing, programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting advanced lighting control systems.

Youll work closely with our project managers and clients to deliver tailored solutions that meet both functional and aesthetic requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Work alongside our team to learn all the skills required to be a lighting controls engineer.

Assist with designing lighting control system layouts and specifications.

Program and commission lighting control systems (e.g. Interact, Dynalite, Casambi, Pharos, plus many more).

Assist our UK Controls Manager in meetings with clients, architects, and contractors to interpret project requirements.

Learn how to troubleshoot system issues and provide technical support during installation and post-install.

Learn how to prepare detailed documentation, including system schematics, wiring diagrams, and O&M manual.

Attend training sessions with Signify to keep up to date with the latest technologies.
