We are seeking a Controls Engineer (Lighting Focused) to join our London studio.
The role is key to our ability to deliver integrated innovative lighting solutions and will have you designing, specifying and commissioning Lighting Control Systems, producing wiring schematics, plans & control panel elevations and block diagrams as well as taking a hands-on approach when it comes to troubleshooting technical issues, testing DMX Lighting and assembly of control panels.
Working closely with our other departments (Lighting Design, Product Design, Procurement) as well as an array of brands (including Lutron, Rako, Pharos, Hippotizer, etc), the ideal candidate will have strong system design and implementation skills with proven experience (2+ years), solid grasp of control and communication protocols such as DALI, DMX and ArtNet, good project management abilities, as well as a strong commercial sense and ability to communicate with stakeholders of all levels and technical understanding taking a project from concept to completion.
Your previous exposure to working within highly integrated digital environments of AV and Lighting Control systems and your astute attention to detail will prove invaluable when preparing Multimedia and Lighting Control System designs inclusive of video, and control in support of a broad base of project opportunities.
