Job summary

Matchtech is seeking a Production Wirer in Winchester to join a hands-on team. You will wire and assemble lighting products to high quality and safety standards, following technical drawings and using hand tools and testing equipment.

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–4:45pm, offering a PAYE rate of £13.90 per hour with opportunities to develop specialist lighting skills and progress to permanent roles.

Qualifications

• Wiring or electrical assembly experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail is essential.
• Reliable, punctual and well organized.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Wiring and assembling lamps and lighting fixtures.
• Working from technical drawings and instructions.
• Using hand tools and electrical testing equipment.
• Ensuring all products meet safety, functional and quality standards.
