Job summary

A leading independent games developer in London is seeking an experienced Lighting Artist. The role involves creating balanced and atmospheric lighting for in-game environments and cinematics, enhancing locations through effective lighting techniques. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of AAA project experience and strong skills in Unreal Engine and Maya. Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of lighting experience on a AAA project.
• Knowledge in a variety of baked and real-time lighting methods.
• Strong folio including examples of realistic modelling and environment.

Responsibilities

• Create balanced and atmospheric lighting for in-game environments and cinematics.
• Enhance game environments and locations through lighting.
• Create lighting related visual and post effects.
• Maintain runtime performance and optimization.
• Enhance the project's mood and tell stories through lighting.

Skills

Experience of using Lumen in Unreal 5

Experience of using Maya

We are looking for an experienced and talented, UK based Lighting Artist with the ability to conceive, create and contribute to the team creating innovative experiences via artistic visuals.

• Extensive experience using Unreal 4 / 5
• Extensive experience e of 2D packages such as Photoshop/Substance
