Job summary

Joseph Gallagher Group seeks a Lifting Equipment Inspector / Storesperson to join our Specialist Plant Associates team in Hinwick. The role focuses on inspecting lifting gear, maintaining inspection records, and supporting inventory management while coordinating with site teams to ensure equipment readiness.

The successful candidate will have hands-on lifting equipment experience, good safety knowledge, and solid IT skills to track assets and keep accurate records.

Qualifications

• Experience working with lifting equipment is essential.
• Experience inspecting lifting equipment and lifting accessories.
• Good understanding of lifting operations and safety standards.
• Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Office and equipment tracking systems.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK Driving Licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out inspections of lifting equipment and accessories in line with company procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment inspections and certification.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management.
• Liaise with site teams and operational staff regarding equipment requirements.
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety procedures.
