Job summary

A London-based engineering firm is seeking a skilled Lift Technician to join their growing team. Responsibilities include installation, maintenance, repair, and inspection of lift systems across various properties in London. Candidates should have proven experience and strong knowledge of lift control systems, with the ability to work independently. A full UK driving licence is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a lift engineer, technician, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of lift control systems, traction, hydraulics, and electrical components.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Full UK driving licence (preferred).

  • Perform routine maintenance and servicing of lift systems in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
  • Carry out installations and modernisations of lift equipment as required.
  • Complete detailed service reports and maintain accurate records.
  • Respond to emergency callouts when required (on a rota basis).
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
