Job summary

KONE in East Anglia is seeking a Lift Service Improver to support experienced engineers with planned maintenance, minor repairs and safety inspections across a range of lift systems.

This development-focused role is hands-on: shadow service routes, assist fault finding, and train toward NVQ3 in Lift Engineering, with a clear pathway to becoming a fully qualified, independent engineer.

Qualifications

• Some experience within the lift industry or a relevant engineering background
• A willingness to learn and develop within a hands-on role
• Full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Support experienced engineers in delivering planned maintenance, minor repairs and safety inspections.
• Shadow service routes, assist fault finding, and learn to work with different lift types and control systems.
• Prepare tools and equipment, complete basic service documentation, and help keep systems running safely and efficiently.
