Job summary

Spencers Recruitment is seeking an experienced Service/Call-Out Engineer for a leading lift servicing and maintenance company in the Greater London area. The role includes routine servicing, breakdown attendances, and ensuring lifts operate safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities include diagnostics of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults, safety inspections, maintaining service logs, and providing out-of-hours support via a night rota.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in lift servicing and maintenance
• Experience handling mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine servicing and preventative maintenance to ensure lifts operate safely and efficiently
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults in lifts
• Attend breakdowns promptly to minimise downtime and satisfy customers
• Perform safety checks and inspections per standards
• Maintain accurate service logs and call-out reports
• Ensure health and safety compliance on all sites
• Liaise with clients and site managers for updates and improvements
• Participate in night rota for out-of-hours support
