What we expect

We are looking for a passionate Lift Engineer Apprentice to join our [location] team. This role involves working on various sites to carry out maintenance, service, and repair work on lifts and escalators, ensuring all sites are clean and meet acceptable standards.

You will work in a supportive team alongside experienced staff, gaining hands-on experience and new skills essential for a successful career in the vertical transportation industry!

What you’ll do at work

You will collect evidence towards a Level 3 NVQ in Engineering in Lift Service and Repair, supported by our training provider L.I.T.S Ltd.

You will be allocated one day a week for relevant lift-specific distance learning units and will gain a Lift and Escalator Electromechanic (Level 3) qualification.

A driving licence is required, as you will be traveling to different sites.

Who we are looking for
  • An interest in engineering and a commitment to attend, complete, and achieve the required training throughout the apprenticeship.
  • Good use of initiative
  • Minimum of 18 years of age
  • GCSE or equivalent in English, Maths, STEM, and Engineering, with grades 9-4 (A*-C) or Pass in Engineering.
