Job summary

Stirling Warrington Limited in Newcastle is seeking a skilled Lift Service Engineer to join our established team. You will manage your own service route, respond to breakdowns, and perform planned maintenance on passenger and goods lifts.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering, at least two years' field experience, the ability to fault-find and repair, and a full UK driving licence. Travel across the coverage area is expected.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Lift Engineering required.
• 2 years of lift service/maintenance experience.
• J Modules or equivalent qualifications.
• Proficient fault finding, diagnosis and repair on Pass/ Goods lifts.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own lift service route in Newcastle.
• Attend lift breakdowns and undertake planned servicing and maintenance work.
• Provide Service and PPM at customer sites.
• Provide technical support and advice to customers and maximise first-time fix rate.
• Maintain a professional image on site as a company ambassador.
• Travel throughout the coverage area.

We are a well-known and established Lift Service, Installation and Repair company. Due to our ever-growing lift service portfolio, we are looking for a Lift Service Engineer to cover Newcastle.

Key Responsibilities of the successful Lift Service Engineer:

• Management of your own lift service route in Newcastle
• Attend lift breakdowns and undertake planned servicing and maintenance work.
• Providing Service and PPM work at customer sites
• Provide technical support and advice to customers and maximise the first-time fix rate
• Maintain a professional image at all times as you're a company ambassador on site
• Travelling throughout the coverage area

Key requirements of the successful Lift Service Engineer:

• NVQ Level 3 qualified in Lift Engineering
• 2 years of experience in a Lift Service / Maintenance Engineer position
• Relevant qualifications for the position, e.g. J Modules
• Proficient with fault finding, diagnosis and repair on either/both Passenger and Goods lifts
• Self-motivated, reliable, and organised
• Full UK driving licence and prepared to travel with the role
