Job summary

Alexander Faraday Recruitment is seeking an experienced Lift Service Engineer to join a leading lift manufacturer in London. You will service, maintain and repair a range of passenger and goods lifts across multiple customer sites, ensuring safety and reliability.

The role requires hands-on fault finding, strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, and the ability to manage a service route independently while delivering professional customer service.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 NVQ in Lift Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience as a Lift Service Engineer.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Good mechanical and electrical knowledge.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own service route.
• Professional and customer-focused approach.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and routine servicing across a portfolio of lifts.
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults.
• Attending breakdowns and completing repairs efficiently.
• Identifying potential issues before they develop into larger faults.
• Completing service documentation and maintaining accurate records.
• Ensuring all work is in line with health and safety standards.
• Building good relationships with customers and providing a professional service.
• Working across a variety of lift equipment and manufacturers.
