Job summary

Stannah Group in Reading is seeking a Lift Repair Engineer to cover Reading and surrounding areas. This hands-on role focuses on repairs, fault finding and keeping lifts running reliably across a local patch.

You'll work across a local patch, dealing with breakdowns, worn components and more complex faults. You'll manage your own work day-to-day, with support from a local supervisor when needed, and contribute to a safe, efficient service across commercial, residential and public sites with

Qualifications

• Experience working as a lift engineer (service/repair).
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out repairs and fault finding on lifts.
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues.
• Replacing and upgrading components and assemblies.
• Attending breakdowns and supporting call-outs.
• Getting lifts back into service safely and efficiently.
• Completing site paperwork and keeping records up to date.

Skills

Experience as lift engineer

Full UK driving licence

Education

NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering
