Job summary

Recenergy in Reading and surrounding areas is seeking an experienced Lift Repair Engineer to diagnose faults, repair lifts and keep them operating safely across commercial, residential and public-sector sites. The role offers a local patch, competitive earnings and a comprehensive benefits package.

Typical hours are Monday to Friday with early finish on Fridays. Salary is dependent on skills and experience, and applicants must have the right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering.
• Previous lift service or repair experience.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Ability to work independently and manage your workload.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical lift faults.
• Carrying out lift repairs and component replacements.
• Attending breakdowns and resolving technical issues.
• Working independently across a manageable local patch.
• Completing necessary service and repair documentation.
• Ensuring lifts are returned to service safely and efficiently.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We're looking for an experienced Lift Repair Engineer to cover Reading and the surrounding areas. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

WORKING HOURS

• Monday - Thursday: 8:00am - 4:45pm
