Job summary

A leading lift service provider is seeking a Lift Repair Engineer in Sheffield to perform maintenance and repairs on lifts. The ideal candidate should have experience in lift engineering, be skilled in problem-solving, and be prepared to manage customer relations. Qualifications

• Experience as a Lift Engineer, with experience in maintenance and repairs.
• Ability to work on LG1 examinations and various lifting equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular planned preventative maintenance and service visits.
• Attend lift breakdown callouts for minor repairs.
• Provide updates to the Service Manager and participate in the standby rota.
• Providing regular updates to the Service Manager and becoming an integral part of the regional 24/7 Standby/Callout rota
• Solving issues across a portfolio of Orona and competitor lifting equipment and carrying out basic LG1 examinations
• Problem solving and working on your own initiative

We are looking for a Lift Service Engineer to join our Service team to cover our Sheffield repairs. As an experienced Lift Engineer you will be responsible for:

• Carrying out regular planned preventative maintenance and service visits
• Attending lift breakdown callouts to carry out minor lift repairs
• Meeting agreed customer response times, building relationships with our clients
• Providing regular updates to the Service Manager and becoming an integral part of the regional 24/7 Standby/Callout rota
• Solving issues across a portfolio of Orona and competitor lifting equipment and carrying out basic LG1 examinations
• Problem solving and working on your own initiative
