Lift Engineering Vocational Assessor

Greater Manchester/Home-based Hybrid role, Up to £38,000 p/a, Permanent, full-time or part-time considered

We are working with an education provider in the Greater Manchester area who are looking for a Lift Engineering Vocational Assessor to join their engineering training team on a permanent basis.

The job role would consist of conducting vocational assessments for level 2/3 Lift Engineering apprentices. You would have to travel to workplaces in the Greater Manchester area in order to do some of these face-to-face, although there would be some learners that you would do remote assessments for via Teams (as their workplaces are outside the Greater Manchester area). The position would be home-based, and you would be able to manage your own diary in order to get around the caseload in the best way possible.

The starting salary for this position is up to a maximum of £38,000 per annum, and the package would also include a pension (3% employee/5% employer), business mileage, and 25 days holiday allowance (plus Bank Holidays).

Requirements
  • A related level 3 qualification
  • Good experience of hands-on Lift Engineering
  • A passion for passing on your knowledge

Please note that the education provider would be able to put you through your assessor award on the job if you do not have one already.
