Lifing Stores Coordinator 23 Month Fixed Term Contract

About the Role:

A vacancy has arisen for a Lifing Stores Coordinator reporting to the Team Leader Lifed parts control. The successful candidate will be working in a busy life stores department undertaking a variety of duties to help keep the department efficient and tidy. The role is mainly focusing on working within SAP, ensuring the accurate servicing of all Chassis lifed parts and their physical and electronic locations.

Key Accountabilities/Duties include:
  • Track the physical movement of lifed parts through the Factory during Build events to ensure accurate information on the location of lifed parts at all times.
  • Prepare turnaround kits for circuit Build events and provide detailed information to travelling personnel as to what is required to be changed on the cars and the movement of the parts after a circuit Build event.
  • Maintain a lifed stores area ensuring that it is kept clean and tidy at all times and correct records are kept along with regular stock checks.
  • Work with the Race Team Spares Co-ordinator to ensure the correct stock levels of lifed components on the race truck at all times.
  • Ensure all ECN’s (Engineering Change Notes) are carried out as requested.
  • Organise Lifed parts Hand Carry as required for each event.
  • Ensure lifed parts that are issued to each chassis during a Build event are to the correct specification.
  • Provide lifing information to all other departments as requested.
  • Work closely with all other Departments to assist them as required with Lifing issues.
Candidate Profile:
  • General stores experience is required.
  • Flexibility in hours and a can-do approach is required, along with the ability to work in a team, under high pressure and to strict deadlines with minimum supervision.
