Job summary

Berkshire Manor is opening a residential care home in Bracknell and seeks a Bank Lifestyles/Activities Assistant to join the founding team. You will plan and deliver a lively activity programme, lead group and one‑to‑one sessions, and support residents in pursuing hobbies and social engagement.

This bank/zero‑hours role requires creativity, warmth and strong organisational skills, with the aim of enriching daily life for our residents in a luxurious, supportive setting.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting vulnerable individuals in activity settings.
• Background in designing or delivering activity programmes.
• Love for music and creativity.
• Confidence to run group and 1‑to‑1 sessions.
• Excellent organisational, planning and IT skills; basic photography abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver a vibrant programme of activities for residents.
• Support organisation of events and outings.
• Encourage residents to join group activities and social settings.
• Lead group and one‑to‑one activities; create new activity ideas and packs.
• Set up for events, talks and social gatherings.
