Job Description:

Hourly rate: £11.58 per hour

Hours per week: 10 hours, shift time 11:00am-16:00pm, alternative weekends

Join our team as a Lifestyle Co-ordinator in our wonderful home. Your main role will be to plan and deliver meaningful, person-centred activities for residents, guiding and coaching staff to ensure every day is filled with meaningful moments. You will help residents live well and enjoy life, enhancing their dignity and self-esteem through engagement and positive relationships.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading and delivering high-quality activities for residents
  • Ensuring residents with dementia have equal opportunities for engagement
  • Promoting interaction and communication between staff and residents
  • Making mealtimes enjoyable and engaging
  • Building and maintaining community links

You will receive support and development opportunities to build confidence and skills in delivering quality activities.

Applicants should have a positive, forward-thinking approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to enthuse and guide others. Care home experience and previous activity leadership are advantageous. Flexibility and assertiveness are also important. Candidates from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
