Experience

Key Responsibilities

The post is intended to be a concierge/buddy service, acting as a go-between for residents and management. Responsibilities include:

  1. Listening to residents and passing on any concerns or queries.
  2. Getting to know each resident and ensuring they settle in happily.
  3. Facilitating a homely environment and supporting residents’ transitions.
  4. Keeping track of residents’ birthdays and informing the kitchen and entertainment team.
  5. Introducing yourself to residents and their families to build relationships.
  6. Liaising with various teams to ensure residents’ needs are met.
  7. Ensuring residents are aware of and can attend activities.
  8. Assisting with correspondence, banking, shopping, and maintaining family connections.
  9. Facilitating personal shopping trips and outings for residents.
  10. Spending one-on-one time with residents, engaging in activities they enjoy.
  11. Planning trips and encouraging socialization among residents.
  12. Maintaining records of assistance provided to residents.
  13. Attending funerals as necessary.
