Bupa’s Havelock Court Care Home in London is looking for a Lifestyle and Wellbeing Coordinator. The role oversees morning and afternoon activity sessions, creates activity planners within a budget, and arranges events and client interactions to enhance resident wellbeing.

You’ll work with care teams to foster social activities, reminiscence, and community engagement while supporting resident happiness and health. Benefits and flexible working are included as part of the role.

• Liaising with external companies and performers from the local community to organise days out/events at the home

• Supporting the home with their social media channels as required

Location: Havelock Court Care Home, 6 Wynne Road, Stockwell. London SW9 0BB

Contract: Permanent – Full Time

Hours: 40 hours per week, including some weekend working

Salary: £12.75 to £13.75 per hour, depending on experience

About Havelock Court

Havelock Court has been purpose-built to offer care for a diverse range of conditions. These include carefully tailored plans for residents aged 18 and over. The home specialises in mental health, nursing, residential and dementia care and those living with physical disabilities.

The facility makes the most of modern care capabilities, even having its own gymnasium, activities kitchen and games area. All bedrooms are ensuite and have a 24-hour call system.

Quality care is supported by good nutrition, with Havelock Court looking to cater for the personal taste of residents. There is also a private dining for residents to spend quality time and enjoy a three-course meal with loved ones.

The home has a weekly activities and rehabilitation programme which consists of movie clubs, reminiscence therapy, flower arranging, support for independent living, poetry, arts and crafts, cookery and numerous social events.

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

You’re a creative thinker with plenty of ideas, who can also manage budgets and maintain paperwork, effectively managing priorities as they arise. Wanting to make a real difference, you’re interested in caring for others, sharing your sense of humour and spreading your infectious enthusiasm for making people’s lives better.
