Job description

4Leisure Recruitment is currently recruiting for multiple lifeguard positions in Colchester and surrounding areas. These roles are ideal for all qualified Lifeguards seeking flexible work in some of the best indoor and outdoor pools Colchester has to offer.

This is a zero-hour contract with shift work, allowing you to choose your working hours and maintain flexibility while working as part of our team.

Salary: £14.00 per hour (including holiday pay), paid weekly.

Roles available: Full-time and part-time.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ensure the safety of all pool users by preventing incidents and responding swiftly to emergencies.
2. Monitor swimming activities and enforce pool rules to maintain a safe environment.
3. Conduct regular checks and maintain cleanliness in the pool area.
4. Assist with pool operations, including setting up and packing away equipment.
5. Provide excellent customer service by supporting and engaging with pool visitors.

Requirements:

1. NPLQ (National Pool Lifeguard Qualification) certified.
2. Strong swimming skills and confidence in the water.
3. Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
