Job summary

Nuffield Health Kingston Fitness & Wellbeing Centre is hiring a Lifeguard to help keep swimmers safe and provide excellent customer care. The role is part-time (24 hours/week) with a permanent contract and a pro-rata salary of £27,248. Applicants should hold an NPLQ or equivalent and maintain training records.

Qualifications

• Holds a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent.
• Ability to provide ongoing training records.
• Strong customer care mindset and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Help members stay safe in wet side facilities (pool, spa, sauna, steam room).
• Be attentive and alert at all times.
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment.
• Welcome and support members using facilities.
• Pay close attention to safety and respond to incidents immediately.
• Ensure Pool Safety Guidelines are followed at all times.
