Job summary

Nuffield Health in Birmingham Rubery is recruiting a Lifeguard for 16 hours per week. The role requires a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent and involves overseeing safety in our pool, spa, sauna and steam room, and delivering friendly customer care.

You will work as part of a supportive team, keep members safe, share safety guidelines, and help create a welcoming environment. In return, a range of benefits including free gym membership and pension options are offered.

Qualifications

• Must hold National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent.
• Demonstrates strong customer care and teamwork.
• Committed to safety and able to follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Help members stay safe in the pool, spa, sauna and steam room.
• Be attentive and alert at all times.
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment.
• Welcome and support members when using facilities.
• Pay close attention to safety and respond to incidents promptly.
• Ensure Pool Safety Guidelines are followed at all times.
