Job summary

The Club Company is seeking a responsible Lifeguard to supervise our swimming pool area and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for members and guests. You will enforce policies, assist with safety procedures, and address any issues promptly.

Role involves monitoring pool activity, providing first aid or CPR when necessary, and helping maintain a clean, secure pool area. Shifts cover a 7-day operation, including early mornings and evenings.

Qualifications

• Lifeguard experience desirable and relevant pool supervision skills.
• CPR, First Aid, or AED certification is required or advantageous.
• National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pool users to ensure safety and enforce pool rules.
• Provide CPR or rescue and administer first aid when needed.
• Maintain pool cleanliness and safety equipment; report health & safety concerns to Fitness & Wellbeing Manager.
• Keep changing rooms, bathrooms and showers tidy and secure personal belongings.
