Job summary

Millfield School is seeking casual Leisure Attendants to provide lifeguard cover across our swimming facilities during busy periods, particularly late afternoons, evenings and weekends. This is a zero-hours position with up to 15 hours per week and hourly rates of £11.44 plus holiday pay, rising to £12.71 per hour for applicants aged 21 and over.

Qualifications

• Holds a current NPLQ qualification.
• Confident communicator; works well as part of a team.
• Flexible for shifts; evenings, weekends and school holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide lifeguard cover at Millfield Senior Pool and Prep Pool.
• Ensure safety and wellbeing of all pool users.
• Maintain high health and safety standards and follow procedures.
• Supervise the Cricket Centre and Golf Centre as required.
• Deliver a welcoming and professional service to students, staff and visitors.
