Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a customer-focused Leisure Assistant at Hadley Learning Community in Telford to ensure user safety and oversee pool facilities.

You will work part-time on a permanent contract, performing cleaning, lifeguarding, setting up sports equipment and basic first aid, with additional duties from your line manager. A valid NPLQ is ideal and monthly lifeguard training is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work as part of a team and individually to perform a variety of tasks.
• NPLQ is preferred; enthusiasm for monthly lifeguard training is expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform pool and leisure area lifeguarding to ensure user safety.
• Clean and tidy facilities and equipment.
• Set up sports equipment as required.
• Administer basic first aid as needed.
• Carry out duties assigned by the line manager.
