The Lensbury, located in Teddington on the banks of the River Thames, is seeking a Lifeguard to ensure pool safety and assist guests with facilities. This role is part of the hotel’s leisure offering and requires a professional, customer‑focused approach.

With an NPLQ, you will provide friendly service, monitor pool chemistry, and support day‑to‑day operations. The Lensbury offers training and development, employee meals, and access to leisure facilities as part of its benefits.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of all users to the Swimming Pool and associated areas.
• Offer professional advice on the use of facilities.
• Maintain checks on Pool chemical levels and the general day to day running of facilities.

• General reception duties, telephone enquiries when required

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications, attitude, behaviours, skills, and values:

• National Pool Lifeguard certificate (NPLQ) is required
• Bright personality with excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work on initiative and prepared to accept responsibility.
• Excellent team player
• Good health & safety knowledge essential
