Job summary

Freedom Leisure is seeking Lifeguards to join our team. You'll contribute to a welcoming, safe environment across our leisure centres, delivering great customer experiences and helping people of all ages enjoy water facilities.

The role supports career progression, with training and development to reach potential as Swim Teachers or Supervisors. 37 hours per week, with a rota Monday–Sunday, and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• NPLQ qualification or equivalent.
• Enhanced DBS check to be carried out.
• First Aid at Work.
• An ability to relate to customers of all ages and abilities and to all levels of staff.
• Well developed interpersonal skills.
• Team orientated approach and ability to work across organisation boundaries.
• Flexible and able to follow instructions from managers.
• Demonstrated passion and energy for the leisure industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service with a smile and assist pool users.
• Maintain safety and supervision across leisure facilities as a Lifeguard.
• Support opportunities for progression to Swim Teacher or Supervisor roles.

Our Lifeguards are an integral part of our team and have gone on to become Swim Teachers, Supervisors and even more, we will support you to develop to reach your potential!

Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday - Sunday (Rota basis)
